Keng Wei is a designer who enjoys creating tangible objects that are a pleasure to own. He adopts a rigorous, detail-oriented approach when form-finding to come up with objects that are a delight to the eye. Accentuating the natural characteristics of the materials in his designs is especially important to him.
Keng Wei believes that objects really only become possessions through a period of time and usage. We slowly grow attached to these possessions and feel a particular fondness for them. It is this feeling of fondness that he hopes his designed objects will eventually conjure up.
