The stool consists mainly of two different kinds of wood, namely, oak and cherry. The cherry legs were securely affixed to the oak seat through wedged mortise and tenon joints. Teak wood was used for the wedges.
The tissue box is made of Beech wood. Its corners were constructed using mitre joints.
